The Realtor® of the Year award goes to a Realtor® member who is outstanding in their field. They are actively involved all year long in both the Association and the community.
oday, we would like to recognize a long-time member who dedicated the entirety of 2023 to this Association. Holding multiple officer positions throughout their time as a Realtor®, this member is a prime example of a Realtor® volunteer. This member led our Association through a year of transition and uncertainty, while always promoting ‘doing the right thing,’ despite any ongoing challenges.
The winner of the 2023 Realtor® of the Year award always has a positive attitude and outlook, which is extremely important in leadership roles.

The Broker of the Year award is presented each year to a broker who demonstrates outstanding involvement both in their own business and within the Association.
This broker is no stranger to the MLS, the Association offices, Association events, the board room, state and national conventions, PAGs, just to name a few. For more than a decade now, they have dedicated so much time to volunteering that you can’t truly quantify it. This member never says “no” and is always willing to take on a new challenge in the name of the Realtor® brand. All this while running their own successful brokerage and mentoring their agents.
This member has been vital in helping to progress our MLS department in 2023 and we would still be very much behind the times without them.

Affiliate Business Partners are what keep our businesses afloat. They are vital to the success of the real estate industry.
In 2023, this Affiliate stepped up as a committee chair for the first time, after spending several years playing an important role as a committee member within the Association. They helped spearhead a very successful year for our YPN Committee while also dedicating a lot of time as a member of the Events committee.
Their positive, welcoming personality is exactly what we like to see from our members. This affiliate has been a dedicated part of the Association for a number of years, helping to support the Realtor® members with excellent service, a smile and a friendly voice.

Educator of the Year honors a member who has teaching excellence based on evaluations from classes and continuing education.
This member teaches at Associations across the state of Florida, serves on the faculty at Florida Realtors®, and spreads their passion for education everywhere they go. They have dedicated many years to RPCRA’s Professional Development committee and was recently named the 2023 “Educator of the Year” at the Florida Realtors® convention in August. With education being such an important part of the real estate industry, this member is the kind of educator we want teaching our new and seasoned Realtors®.

This award goes to a new member who started making an impact from the moment they joined the Association.
Miguel Blanco dove in headfirst with 100% effort from the get-go. Last year alone, this member was on three committees, attended endless Association events, and graduated as part of the 2023 Leadership Development Academy. He is possibly one of the happiest and most personable people you will ever meet. His smile is contagious, and he will grow exponentially with the association.
Nicole Robinson committed herself to the association from day one. As a member of multiple committees such as Finance and Public Policy, a part of the Women’s Council of Realtors®, and a graduate of 2023’s Leadership Development Academy, she has become a highly visible member of the association in a short amount of time.

Faye L. Roberts Honorary Lifetime Achievement award is presented to member who has dedicated at least 20 years of service as a Realtor® member in various positions and avenues.
Marion Briggs is a dedicated and passionate individual, not only within the Realtor® world, but also the community of Southwest Florida. She has served the Association as a Past President, a committee member, the President of Realtors® Care, and was instrumental in the creation of our original Housing Foundation.
Donna Stout is a Realtor® who works for the betterment of not just her own business, but the entire Association. From sitting on and chairing committees, to running the Association as a Past President, to dedicating endless hours to Presidential Advisory Groups. She is a vital piece of our puzzle to keep RPCRA moving forward. We wouldn’t be here today if she hadn’t been such an integral part of our merger in 2015.
