Leadership Development Academy

Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association members are urged to join the Leadership Development Academy to expand their understanding of institutional, industry, and association dynamics. The Academy offers a comprehensive approach to honing leadership skills, allowing participants to discover and refine their personal leadership styles while gaining insight into RPCRA's historical and operational framework. Collaboration is emphasized through team-based projects, providing a hands-on learning experience.


Are you passionate about making a difference? Would you like to expand your leadership skills?

Leadership Development Academy can help prepare you to lead a committee, become an officer of the Association, and get involved in our community.

Many of the principles that guide RPCRA can be applied to running your business and benefit decisions that will impact your success. Designed to provide a forum for existing and potential leaders to work together, Leadership Development Academy offers unique opportunities to learn first hand the operations of the Association. You can also experience how we integrate with Florida Realtors® and NAR.

What's required:

  • Attend every session of the Leadership Development Academy
  • Attend one day of Florida Realtors® Convention (August 2025)
  • Attend one Board of Directors meeting
  • Attend one Public Policy meeting
  • Attend one Member Breakfast
  • Attend Kick-off Class/Happy Hour
  • Attend District 5 Florida Realtors® Meet the Candidates
  • Attend at least one virtual FREC hearing
  • Complete C2EX by day of graduation
  • Commit to serving on a committee after graduation
  • Applicants must have been licensed on or before January 1, 2024

  1. Has your experience in a leadership role or as a participant in a leadership training program instilled in you a desire to seek training at the highest level?

  2. Are you able to commit to a year-long program of leadership development that demands skill building, leadership discovery, study, time and travel, in which you are expected to stay engaged and consider new opportunities for the association with your peers?

  3. Do you wish to improve your leadership skills and use your leadership ability as a volunteer within the Realtor® organization?

  4. Are you excited to learn more about the inner workings of RPCRA and interested in giving back to the industry and applying what you learn?

  5. Will you support the initiatives of RPCRA as they continue to evolve?

  6. RPCRA’s Leadership Development Academy encourages diversity in all that we do. This includes different levels of education, cultural backgrounds, committee involvement, membership in councils and societies, life experiences, community involvement and more. The perspectives of each of our participants contribute to the overall experience of the class. Are you open to learning from these perspectives?
