Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association members are urged to join the Leadership Development Academy to expand their understanding of institutional, industry, and association dynamics. The Academy offers a comprehensive approach to honing leadership skills, allowing participants to discover and refine their personal leadership styles while gaining insight into RPCRA’s historical and operational framework. Collaboration is emphasized through team-based projects, providing a hands-on learning experience.

Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association’s Leadership Development Academy can help prepare you to lead a committee, become an Officer of the Association, and get involved in the community.
Many of the guiding principles for RPCRA can be applied to running your business and benefit decisions that will impact your success. Designed to provide a forum for existing and potential leaders to work together, Leadership Development Academy offers unique opportunities to learn first-hand the operations of the Association. You can also experience how we integrate with Florida Realtors® (FR) and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).
Application Fee: $150
Deadline: The application process will open up in the Spring of 2025.
What You Learn
- Enhanced Presentations: Deliver effective presentations being briefed on industry advocacy and trends.
- Stay Informed: Become better informed about the Association’s local, state, and national procedures, business plans and organization values.
- Leadership Development: Learn leadership development skills and competencies to best represent the Member’s interests and development.
Requirements
- Attend one Member Breakfast
- Attend one Public Policy meeting
- Attend one Board of Directors meeting
- Attend Kick-off Class/Networking Event
- Commit to serving on a committee after graduation
- Attend District 5 Florida Realtors® Meet the Candidates (June)
- Attend one day of Florida Realtors® Convention (August)
- Complete C2EX by day of graduation (mid-November)
- Attend every session of the Leadership Development Academy
- Applicants must have been licensed on or before January 1, 2023
Attendance at class sessions is mandatory for completion of the Leadership Development Academy.
If a participant misses a session, he/she will be allowed to continue with approval of the Leadership Development Academy Task Force. If a participant misses more than one session, he/she will be asked to withdraw and reapply when he/she is able to meet the time commitments of the Academy.
